Position Seeking : Tax Professional

Report to: Country Tax Manager for all direct taxes (corporate income tax and withholding tax)

Job roles & responsibilities:

– Ensure tax returns filings and payments are made accurately and timely

– Prepare and maintain appropriate “audit ready” files and assists in the management of tax audits

– Interact and communicate effectively within and outside tax units to gather information and understand business transactions to ensure proper tax treatment

– Keep current on tax legislation, be able to identify tax and accounting differences and transactions that have tax implications, do tax research, and be proficient in interpreting and applying the tax law, regulations, and cases to specific transactions and factual situations

– Ensure tax reports, tax provisions and tax account reconciliations are prepared accurately and submitted timely

– Comply with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and internal control process

– Provide guidelines/process and review work performed by tax administrative staff

– Assist with providing tax advices and necessary educations to non-tax units

– Assists with continuous tax process improvement

– Assist with special projects as assigned by Country Tax Manager.

Skills/Experience Requirements Basic Qualifications:

– Bachelor degree in Accounting and familiarity with Thai accounting standards (CPA is preferred)

– 5+ Years direct tax experiences in MNCs

– Strong computer skills

– Strong organizational skills & attention to detail

– Strong ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects

– Strong in both Thai and English communication skills – both oral and written

– Good problem solving and analytical skills

– Flexibility in a changing environment.

Required:

– Bachelor’s Degree

– At least 5 years experience in Over 5 years of experience in Tax Analyst

– English: Fluent

– Thai: Fluent

Preferred:

– Master’s Degree in Accounting/Finance
